What is Tert Butyl Benzoate Peroxide

Tert butyl benzoate peroxide is an organic compound with molecular formula C11H14O3. It is a colorless to yellowish liquid. Slightly fragrant smell. Insoluble in water and soluble in organic solvents. Tert butyl benzoate peroxide is widely used as initiator in polymerization of ethylene, styrene, propylene, vinyl acetate, diallyl phthalate and isobutylene. In the curing process of unsaturated polyester, it is widely used in molding processes such as SMC, BMC, DMC and so on. At the same time, it can also be used with some more active two-component curing systems such as mepk, BPO or tbpo. Store in a cool and ventilated warehouse. Keep away from kindling and heat source and prevent direct sunlight. The storage temperature should not exceed 30 ℃. Packing and sealing. It should be stored separately from reducing agent and alkali, and mixed storage is prohibited. Fire fighting equipment of corresponding varieties and quantities shall be provided. The storage area shall be equipped with appropriate materials to contain leakage. Vibration, impact and friction are prohibited.
